Steven E. Bender is a CPA and CFP with a Master’s degree in taxation. Steven has over 30 years of public accounting experience, including several years with a big four firm and 10 years at a 65 person New York City based firm where he was the tax partner responsible for creating a 15 person tax department and registered investment advisory service.

In addition to his public accounting experience, Steven spent 7 years as the CFO of a large privately held company, overseeing their successful sale to a private equity firm. Steven’s background as a CFO sets him apart from many public accountants. It gives him the ability to offer insightful operational advice and solutions to many situations encountered by new and established businesses.
